Soundmoji Privacy Policy

It is the policy of Component Studios (the company that owns Soundmoji) to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites and App.

Information we Collect

How we Use Your Information

Sound Packs and the Sound Recordings contained within them that you publish will be shared and made available to other users of the Service. Other users will be able to download, play, and share these Sound Recordings with others. Your username will be displayed by Sound Packs you've created. You can clear your username within the app to prevent this.

Soundmoji Keyboard

The Soundmoji Keyboard can be used to send Sounds to others. At no time do we ever read, store, or transmit anything that you type. We require Full Access in our Soundmoji keyboard extension in order to provide copy and pasting functionality.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, Component Studios collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Component Studios' purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Component Studios' visitors use its website. From time to time, Component Studios may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

Component Studios also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. Component Studios does not use such information to identify its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.

Aggregated Statistics

Component Studios may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. Component Studios may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Component Studios does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

Component Studios discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Component Studios' behalf or to provide services available at Component Studios' websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Component Studios will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations, as described above, Component Studios discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only when required to do so by law, or when Component Studios believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Component Studios, third parties or the public at large. If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. Component Studios takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.

Cookies

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor's computer, and that the visitor's browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. Component Studios uses cookies to help Component Studios identify and track visitors, their usage of Component Studios website, and their website access preferences. Component Studios visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using Component Studios' websites, with the drawback that certain features of Component Studios' websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

We do not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register for the Service. The Service and its content are not directed at children under the age of 13. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us.
